Cookies and tracking

mashit.net uses three kinds of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential: needed for the site to work, such as remembering the privacy choices you make on this page. These are always on.
• Analytics: help us understand which pages people visit and how they find us, so we can improve the site. This includes Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors click, scroll and move through our pages (it masks what you type into our forms).
• Advertising: tell advertising platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising when someone who clicked one of our ads contacts us, so we can measure which ads work. If you arrive from an ad, we save the ad click ID with your inquiry, and we may later send it back to the platform to report which inquiries became clients.

Analytics and advertising tools are loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz. That lets us control exactly which tools run, and it sends much of their data from Cloudflare's servers instead of loading third-party scripts in your browser.

Your choices

Analytics and advertising are on by default, and you can turn either one off at any time with the button above. Some state privacy laws treat sharing data with advertising platforms as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Turning off Advertising opts you out of that.

Your choices are saved in a cookie on this browser and device. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser, you'll need to set them again.

Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser or an extension sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising and turn Advertising off for you, with nothing to do on this page.
